Eren Suersan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Özbek having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Kattegat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armağan Cenan came free, but Müfit Özbek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geralt Ófeigsson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Eren Suersan came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Gayrettepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eren Suersan couldn't finish the play. Eren Suersan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gayrettepe booed when Kattegat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Latif Tulunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eren Suersan struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Müfit Özbek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gayrettepe. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atalan Serdaroğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Armağan Cenan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Müfit Özbek made a huge save. Müfit Özbek was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Eren Suersan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eren Suersan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Atalan Serdaroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Cumhur Zübeyr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güray Bayır in the 74th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kattegat FC's goalkeeper Müfit Özbek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 97 minutes, Adil Timurcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gayrettepe and the Kattegat FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gayrettepe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
