The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Halil İbrahim Çelikyay notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Manisa's Gündüz Dilsaz. Gündüz Dilsaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Halil İbrahim Çelikyay put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gündüz Dilsaz. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ediz Akkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manisa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediz Akkaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özbek Rami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manisa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alptuğ Baydan in the 31st minute. A nice corner shot did that Alptuğ Baydan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Özbek Rami quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ali Galip Kemal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manisa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Galip Kemal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özbek Rami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Avanos's Özbek Rami proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Avanos from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Ali Galip Kemal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Özbek Rami was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game.

The supporters of Avanos booed when Manisa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeynel Rezan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Avanos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
