In a very dangerous position, a player in Marmaris fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Ali Nejat Erbatur might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Haydar Kuntay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Nejat Erbatur ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the game, Mustafa Ali Şakir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Afjet Afyonspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marmaris the free kick. After 89 played minutes Afjet Afyonspor got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Ali Şakir. After 90 minutes of play, Marmaris's Ali Nejat Erbatur made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Haydar Kuntay was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Güral Tecelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuz Selimhan Uçhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Behlül Sarıalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afjet Afyonspor were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Marmaris's much stronger midfield.
