Erzurum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erzurum's goalkeeper Alpertunga Koçubey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rdth minute of the game Cengiz Okbaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erzurum's Alpertunga Koçubey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute Cengiz Okbaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alpertunga Koçubey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Cengiz Okbaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes of play, KARTAL JK's Cengiz Okbaş made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. KARTAL JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aydın Yüksel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KARTAL JK fully deserved thier win.
