The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, KIZIL KAPLAN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baransel Koçer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in KIZIL KAPLAN's zone, Özbek Nesil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hacı Ersed came out of the goal and Özbek Nesil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KIZIL KAPLAN's Hacı Ersed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özbek Nesil in the 10th minute of play. Aras Taran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saffet Pekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bilgin İlksel fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KIZIL KAPLAN's protests and gave Bilgin İlksel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KIZIL KAPLAN's Bilgin İlksel got a free kick in the 16th minute. 25 minutes into the match, KIZIL KAPLAN's goal looked a bit too open when Özbek Nesil came free, but Hacı Ersed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Oğuzalp Şahbey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. yimpasyozgat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuzalp Şahbey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Özbek Nesil might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hacı Ersed. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özbek Nesil ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özbek Nesil in the 40th minute of play forced KIZIL KAPLAN's goalkeeper Hacı Ersed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Saffet Pekin made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Saffet Pekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. KIZIL KAPLAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Saffet Pekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aras Taran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 minutes KIZIL KAPLAN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sertaç Özduran who took care of the corner kick. Özbek Nesil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hacı Ersed having to interfere. Baransel Koçer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hacı Ersed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, KIZIL KAPLAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilgin İlksel to maneuver through the defense. Baransel Koçer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hacı Ersed having to interfere. When Batıkan Baliç came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the KIZIL KAPLAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batıkan Baliç couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the game, Samet Erüstün was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. yimpasyozgat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KIZIL KAPLAN the free kick. Samet Erüstün hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Vural Mert charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vural Mert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of KIZIL KAPLAN:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of yimpasyozgat:s goal. The referee gave yimpasyozgat a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sertaç Özduran, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KIZIL KAPLAN's Hacı Ersed. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saffet Pekin in the 86th minute of play forced yimpasyozgat's goalkeeper Aras Taran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Batıkan Baliç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Aras Taran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hacı Ersed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özbek Nesil in the 95th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes KIZIL KAPLAN got a freekick which was hit by Gürol Evirgen. Hacı Ersed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özbek Nesil in the 96th minute of play. After some careless play in the yimpasyozgat defense, Batıkan Baliç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aras Taran. The yimpasyozgat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aras Taran should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
