Çeliker İcabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. Alim Tanın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Çeliker İcabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Mithat Tuncer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekrem Çelikhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galatasaray's Alim Tanın got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alim Tanın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekrem Çelikhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mithat Tuncer in the 29th minute of play. Kandemir Çınar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Çeliker İcabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alim Tanın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çeliker İcabi having to interfere. In the 42nd minute of the match İhsan Rüştü shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Çeliker İcabi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Galatasaray's Alim Tanın got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alim Tanın made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oğuzkan Özatay during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, MuDa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzkan Özatay to maneuver through the defense. MuDa's Çeliker İcabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alim Tanın in the 57th minute of play. In the 66th minute Alim Tanın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çeliker İcabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekrem Çelikhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mithat Tuncer, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Alim Tanın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Şemsettin Arkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alim Tanın might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çeliker İcabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alim Tanın ran back to his position shaking his head. Raşit Rasim kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Alim Tanın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galatasaray were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
