Mustafa Ekrem Akata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Latif Saye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, XN-220's goalkeeper Mustafa Ekrem Akata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdi Mehmet Acaroğlu. After 14 played minutes Erdemli got a freekick which was hit by Emran Uruz. XN-220's Mustafa Ekrem Akata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Latif Saye in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, XN-220's goalkeeper Mustafa Ekrem Akata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdi Mehmet Acaroğlu. Mustafa Ekrem Akata made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gencer Koçarslanoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Gencer Koçarslanoğlu came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mustafa Ekrem Akata could save by the left post. Abdulkerim Ağın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gencer Koçarslanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mustafa Ekrem Akata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güral Eren hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baykan Bakırcı to make the kick off. Baykan Bakırcı hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, Emran Uruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mustafa Ekrem Akata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mustafa Ekrem Akata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Mehmet Acaroğlu in the 65th minute of the match. Latif Saye scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Ekrem Akata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Emran Uruz made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Ekrem Akata. XN-220's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencer Koçarslanoğlu in the 73rd minute of play forced XN-220's goalkeeper Mustafa Ekrem Akata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emran Uruz took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Ekrem Akata. Mustafa Ekrem Akata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erdemli's goalkeeper Bahadır Yıldız, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Latif Saye in the 88th minute of play forced XN-220's goalkeeper Mustafa Ekrem Akata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Gencer Koçarslanoğlu notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of XN-220's Mustafa Ekrem Akata. Mustafa Ekrem Akata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Erdemli players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
