Göksun Sümeroğlu took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sadri Palabıyık. BalKes's Ediz Arkan got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, BalKes's Enginsu Ozaner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adnan Özpinar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vacib Hacıağa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ediz Arkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Adnan Özpinar made a huge save. Mehmet Çağrı Toralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sadri Palabıyık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in BalKes's zone, Mehmet Çağrı Toralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sadri Palabıyık came out of the goal and Mehmet Çağrı Toralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sadri Palabıyık showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kayhan Eripek in the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
