The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mert Cemre kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asım Arif Çetinay during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kanlica booed when Asgard FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Arif Çetinay didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Mehmet Emre Erensoy from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Duran Tayyip's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Asgard FK's Duran Tayyip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Davut Rahim in the 22nd minute of play. Nadir Gelenbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kanlica's Arif Egemen Ongut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semih Taşcıoğlu in the 29th minute of play. Asgard FK's Semih Taşcıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duran Tayyip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Davut Rahim in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Semih Taşcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asgard FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Semih Taşcıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Musa Öztimur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duran Tayyip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Davut Rahim in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Davut Rahim made a kick off. Musa Öztimur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duran Tayyip having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Asgard FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ege Koray to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Emre Erensoy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duran Tayyip. Asgard FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arif Egemen Ongut made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Semih Taşcıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Semih Taşcıoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Kanlica getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Kayhan Karluk hit a great ball. Semih Taşcıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Egemen Ongut having to interfere. Duran Tayyip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macit Topçam in the 82nd minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
