Nuri Esenboğa might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tansel Akıncı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tansel Akıncı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Hurşit Serhan made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Alim Samir sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Zafer PARTİSİ defense, Baturalp Ethem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tansel Akıncı. The Zafer PARTİSİ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tansel Akıncı should have stopped the shot. In the 38th match minute, Zafer PARTİSİ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ataman Oyhan to maneuver through the defense.
