In the 3rd match minute, DeLi Yıldız was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güney Sarper to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hakkı Ayık in the 7th minute of play forced Kalecik FK's goalkeeper Yağızalp Bilgehan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Derviş Tunçkol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute of the match, Demiralp Acunman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osman Soysal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute, DeLi Yıldız's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Demiralp Acunman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The DeLi Yıldız fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osman Soysal should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Hakkı Ayık was the one to do the kick off. Osman Soysal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demiralp Acunman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DeLi Yıldız's Osman Soysal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derviş Tunçkol in the 59th minute of play. Osman Soysal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derviş Tunçkol in the 61st minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DeLi Yıldız had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
