Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gökmen Tekcan started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Kılıç Erdemli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Emerson Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Metin Cantekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Tacettin Aurelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karıncalar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tacettin Aurelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arif Temizkan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Gökmen Tekcan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hüseyin Can Ahid. The goal made the score 1-2. Nazım Yürük sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tarakli's Kılıç Erdemli got a free kick in the 33rd minute. But to his dismay, Emerson Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Tarakli players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Karıncalar were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emerson Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Metin Cantekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karıncalar's Birsel Askeroğlu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ahmet Çetintürk in the 59 minute of the game. Emerson Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Metin Cantekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metin Cantekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tacettin Aurelio went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Kılıç Erdemli was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karıncalar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
