Servet Afacan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Barışcan Gerdaneri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Servet Afacan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vefa UNITED FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Servet Afacan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barışcan Gerdaneri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Servet Afacan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Barışcan Gerdaneri came out and tried to block the shot, but Servet Afacan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Emir Soner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vefa UNITED FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Barışcan Gerdaneri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emir Soner in the 16th minute. After 16 minutes, İskender Batıray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trabzonspor FK and the Vefa UNITED FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Trabzonspor FK got a freekick which was hit by İskender Batıray. Baybora Oytunç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafer Sökmensu in the 19th minute of play. Ali Hamza Kutertan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Servet Afacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barışcan Gerdaneri having to interfere. Bayındır Peyami hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Barışcan Gerdaneri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Servet Afacan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Emir Soner came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vefa UNITED FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emir Soner couldn't finish the play. If Servet Afacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baybora Oytunç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Hamza Kutertan in the 40th minute of play. Emir Soner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Servet Afacan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Barışcan Gerdaneri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trabzonspor FK's Barışcan Gerdaneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servet Afacan in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

But to his dismay, Emir Soner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 81st minute, Emir Soner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vefa UNITED FC's Emir Soner got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trabzonspor FK's Barışcan Gerdaneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servet Afacan in the 89th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor FK's goal looked a bit too open when Emir Soner came free, but Barışcan Gerdaneri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
