Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Polat Vefalı got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Musa Vacip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AYYILDIZ SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Musa Vacip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esentepe FC's Dinçer Ustaoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erbatur Türkeş in the 8th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Gürhan Çevikcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esentepe FC and the AYYILDIZ SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gürhan Çevikcan kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match, Ahmet Hamdi Keçili got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aydın Safir was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Esentepe FC's Dinçer Ustaoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erbatur Türkeş in the 21st minute of play. If Ahmet Hamdi Keçili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Esentepe FC's Polat Vefalı in the 27th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Aydın Safir was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for AYYILDIZ SK through an amazing save. After having played for 28 minutes, Erbatur Türkeş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AYYILDIZ SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erbatur Türkeş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Musa Vacip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes AYYILDIZ SK got a freekick which was hit by Erbatur Türkeş. 37 minutes into the game, Savaş Yenay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AYYILDIZ SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esentepe FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of AYYILDIZ SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esentepe FC:s goal. The referee gave Esentepe FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abdulkerim Kıvılcım, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AYYILDIZ SK's Aydın Safir. 1-0. Aydın Safir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polat Vefalı in the 42nd minute of the match. Aydın Safir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polat Vefalı, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Polat Vefalı got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Polat Vefalı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erbatur Türkeş made a kick off. Aydın Safir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürhan Çevikcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polat Vefalı in the 54th minute of play forced AYYILDIZ SK's goalkeeper Aydın Safir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ahmet Hamdi Keçili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esentepe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Hamdi Keçili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aydın Safir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erbatur Türkeş kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AYYILDIZ SK's goalkeeper Aydın Safir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Hamdi Keçili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Aydın Safir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Polat Vefalı in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aydın Safir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aydın Safir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polat Vefalı in the 71st minute of play. Ahmet Hamdi Keçili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aydın Safir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aydın Safir came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Esentepe FC's Polat Vefalı. But to his dismay, Polat Vefalı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of AYYILDIZ SK booed when Esentepe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürhan Çevikcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polat Vefalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Aydın Safir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Kaan Yafes charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Kaan Yafes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Polat Vefalı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Polat Vefalı took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aydın Safir. Aydın Safir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the AYYILDIZ SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Esentepe FC.
