Elazig's Efekan Akyazıcı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atakan Altın in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Aras Görkem Bergin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efekan Akyazıcı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Atakan Altın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ersan Ertüze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Nafiz Çırakoğlu having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Atakan Altın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efekan Akyazıcı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ahmet Nafiz Çırakoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güner Hafız in the 37th minute of play. Günay Malgır hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bodrum FK's zone, Ersan Ertüze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Nafiz Çırakoğlu came out of the goal and Ersan Ertüze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aras Görkem Bergin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bodrum FK booed when Elazig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hızır Demirtekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ersan Özveren fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elazig's protests and gave Ersan Özveren a yellow card for diving instead. Ersan Özveren kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Bodrum FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Atakan Altın made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atakan Altın in the 51st minute of play forced Elazig's goalkeeper Efekan Akyazıcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Atakan Altın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aras Görkem Bergin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Efekan Akyazıcı when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Aras Görkem Bergin came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bodrum FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aras Görkem Bergin couldn't finish the play. Elazig's Ersan Özveren got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Ersan Özveren off the ground. Ersan Özveren hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Aras Görkem Bergin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Efekan Akyazıcı made a huge save. The Bodrum FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
