Sinan Secaat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Fadıl Bozok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ümit Umural. Bursaspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fadıl Bozok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ümit Umural took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fadıl Bozok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sinan Secaat came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Bursaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sinan Secaat couldn't finish the play. Gürkan Aköz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emirşah Yağızbay in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinan Secaat in the 44th minute of play forced Ikizdere's goalkeeper Gürkan Aköz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Ikizdere were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Abdulvahit Safir made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Bursaspor's Ahmet Davut Eldem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gürkan Aköz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Bursaspor's Ahmet Davut Eldem got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ümit Umural made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadıl Bozok in the 61st minute of play. If Özmen Hükümran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Özmen Hükümran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bursaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ikizdere the free kick. 66 minutes into the match, Fadıl Bozok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ümit Umural. Bursaspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fadıl Bozok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Korkutalp Falcıoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Korkutalp Falcıoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Korkutalp Falcıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ikizdere's Gürkan Aköz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emirşah Yağızbay in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Baybars Akyazıcı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ikizdere fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. With a little luck, Bursaspor's Ümit Umural got control of the ball when Baybars Akyazıcı tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ikizdere eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
