In the 18th minute Mazhar Yıldırımtürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Yaşar Maksum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Boran Önel took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Orhan Hattat. Ali Orhan Hattat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that İrfan Mürşit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Orhan Hattat was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The referee showed Şeray Ayberk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Şeray Ayberk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdulaziz Rakim was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ahmet Boran Önel notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Sungurlu's Ali Orhan Hattat. Ali Orhan Hattat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, Sungurlu's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Boran Önel came free, but Ali Orhan Hattat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes, Haşmet Dilşad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sungurlu and the FC KAVAKLI players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Ahmet Boran Önel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC KAVAKLI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
