After 20 minutes, Ensar Sait mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KovaSpor and the Ikizdere players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ikizdere's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulvahit Safir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gürbüz Mehdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Gürbüz Mehdi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baybars Akyazıcı went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Baybars Akyazıcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baybars Akyazıcı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürbüz Mehdi having to interfere. Abdulvahit Safir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gürbüz Mehdi having to make a save. Ensar Sait was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. KovaSpor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Serter Altın might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gürkan Aköz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serter Altın ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulvahit Safir in the 72nd minute of play forced KovaSpor's goalkeeper Gürbüz Mehdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baybars Akyazıcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gürbüz Mehdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
