The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Faruk Nafiz Baydak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nazil Turalp in the 8th minute. Caner Keykavus's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe 2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caner Keykavus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Ferizli JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caner Keykavus to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caner Keykavus in the 12th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe 2's goalkeeper Levent Gökkır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ferizli JK booed when Fenerbahçe 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berke Önel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Seyit Vezir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe 2's Levent Gökkır was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mehmet Kutan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Fenerbahçe 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Kutan couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Hüsmen Balta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Kutan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faruk Nafiz Baydak came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehmet Kutan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. Bilgehan Tanır hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Nazil Turalp put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Faruk Nafiz Baydak. Hüsmen Balta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Faruk Nafiz Baydak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seyit Vezir to make the kick off. In the 70th minute, Berke Önel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Levent Gökkır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seyit Vezir in the 73rd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Fenerbahçe 2 got a freekick which was hit by Hüsmen Balta. Levent Gökkır made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caner Keykavus in the 76th minute. Caner Cespan kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Fenerbahçe 2's Mehmet Kutan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mehmet Kutan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caner Keykavus got free with Levent Gökkır in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
