The referee ignored ZamaZinGo's protests and gave Kılıç Bender a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute of the match, Ahmet Hayri Doğulu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ümit Umural was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samir Askeroğlu made a kick off. Şanver Yüksel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özmen Hükümran in the 57th minute of play. Emirşah Yağızbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emirşah Yağızbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şanver Yüksel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Şanver Yüksel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bursaspor. In the 71st minute, Emirşah Yağızbay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bursaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özmen Hükümran in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şanver Yüksel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Pekin Balaman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ümit Umural was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Emirşah Yağızbay came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Bursaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emirşah Yağızbay couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in ZamaZinGo's zone, Sinan Secaat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şanver Yüksel came out of the goal and Sinan Secaat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
