Sadettin Ilgınlı's late challenge caught a KovaSpor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sadettin Ilgınlı helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sungurlu's Sadettin Ilgınlı got a free kick in the 10th minute. Mazhar Yıldırımtürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürbüz Mehdi having to interfere. KovaSpor's Gürbüz Mehdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazhar Yıldırımtürk in the 16th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Ediz Nuri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sungurlu and the KovaSpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sungurlu's Ediz Nuri got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Sungurlu's goal looked a bit too open when Ensar Sait came free, but Ali Orhan Hattat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Sungurlu's goalkeeper Ali Orhan Hattat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mirza Ünalp. A collision led to KovaSpor getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. İrfan Mennan hit a great ball. Gürbüz Mehdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazhar Yıldırımtürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gürbüz Mehdi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ediz Nuri's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Sungurlu's Mazhar Yıldırımtürk got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazhar Yıldırımtürk got free with Gürbüz Mehdi in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ensar Sait scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Orhan Hattat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute Serter Altın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Orhan Hattat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ediz Nuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürbüz Mehdi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Mazhar Yıldırımtürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sungurlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazhar Yıldırımtürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gürbüz Mehdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Mazhar Yıldırımtürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sungurlu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazhar Yıldırımtürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serter Altın in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Orhan Hattat saved Sungurlu from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Ensar Sait made a precise shot to the right of Ali Orhan Hattat. Sungurlu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 93 minutes into the match, Reha Yanık notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Sungurlu's Ali Orhan Hattat. Ali Orhan Hattat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of Sungurlu's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sungurlu may have spent more time on the ball, but KovaSpor were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
