Etili Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bursaspor the free kick. 12 minutes into the match, Etili Spor's goalkeeper Mahir Tibet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sinan Secaat. 18 minutes into the match, Bursaspor's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Hakkı Rikap came free, but Ümit Umural reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes, Ergin Erdemir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Etili Spor and the Bursaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Ergin Erdemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Özer Özkutlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ümit Umural. Bursaspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Özer Özkutlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Davut Eldem in the 36th minute of play forced Etili Spor's goalkeeper Mahir Tibet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Ahmet Davut Eldem tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mahir Tibet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kunter Erva in the 45th minute of play forced Bursaspor's goalkeeper Ümit Umural to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Etili Spor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İsmail Hakkı Rikap was the one to do the kick off. Ümit Umural stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İsmail Hakkı Rikap's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Hidayet Ergüner's late challenge caught a Etili Spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hidayet Ergüner helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bursaspor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ümit Umural, was totally fooled by Etili Spor's Kunter Erva, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Etili Spor getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kunter Erva hit a great ball. Özmen Hükümran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mahir Tibet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ümit Umural was a little too slow when Özer Özkutlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Ergin Erdemir got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kunter Erva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ümit Umural came out and tried to block the shot, but Kunter Erva slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 87th minute. After 96 minutes Bursaspor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kunter Erva who took care of the corner kick. Etili Spor's Kunter Erva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ümit Umural in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Etili Spor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
