The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gökberk Özgener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilgehan Özbek, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Gökberk Özgener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilgehan Özbek in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Vahap Ülgenalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gökberk Özgener was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of BEKMEZ FC booed when Halkali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Talha Kutcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tevfik Kural in the 21st minute of play forced Halkali's goalkeeper Ahmet Bedri Özel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökberk Özgener didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bilgehan Özbek went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Cumhur Koçaslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Bilgehan Özbek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gökberk Özgener was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Talip Balyemez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. BEKMEZ FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When %teams%'s Semi Şenyurt was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-3 just inside the left pole, 35 minutes into the game. Ahmet Bedri Özel was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 41st match minute, Halkali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talha Kutcan to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, BEKMEZ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vahap Ülgenalp came free, but Gökberk Özgener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gökberk Özgener was a little too slow when Cem Taştan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talha Kutcan in the 81st minute of play forced BEKMEZ FC's goalkeeper Gökberk Özgener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alp Ağaoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the BEKMEZ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alp Ağaoğlu couldn't finish the play. Halkali's Ahmet Bedri Özel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tevfik Kural in the 94th minute of play.
