Soner Böke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gazanfer Özcan Hürol in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, GÖZTEPE's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Lindström came free, but Soner Böke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Cahit Tülek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gazanfer Özcan Hürol in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soner Böke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kepez spor's Alf Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Gazanfer Özcan Hürol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kepez spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Gazanfer Özcan Hürol notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of GÖZTEPE's Soner Böke. Soner Böke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Soner Böke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gazanfer Özcan Hürol in the 35th minute of play. Bünyamin Artuç hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The GÖZTEPE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Soner Böke should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gazanfer Özcan Hürol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play GÖZTEPE's Cenap Uğur was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 58 played minutes GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Cenap Uğur. 59 minutes into the match, Gazanfer Özcan Hürol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Soner Böke. GÖZTEPE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gazanfer Özcan Hürol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Peyami İlkay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Furkan Ülküm having to interfere. Gazanfer Özcan Hürol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Soner Böke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Kepez spor booed when GÖZTEPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahattin Kutlubay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soner Böke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Özcan Hürol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soner Böke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Kepez spor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GÖZTEPE throughout the match.
