Mustafa İzzet Sakman was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 30 played minutes, Kozakli's Bilal Uzgoren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tuna Mengübay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kozakli reached it. In the 32nd minute of the match Mehmet Akif Tüzün shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tuna Mengübay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kutlay Veysi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kozakli's goalkeeper Ziya Yalgın, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With 59 minutes on the clock, Dorukhan Vatansever commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 58th minute, one of Kastamonuspor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kastamonuspor. Alpertunga Özakan might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ziya Yalgın. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oğuzalp Cevan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziya Yalgın having to interfere. But to his dismay, Oğuzalp Cevan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Kastamonuspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
