İsa Akbora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Işıkalp Erdem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pars Öksal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, GALATASARAY's Ali Berkant Tecen got control of the ball when Gencal Yasık tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ali Berkant Tecen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pars Öksal, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Lokman Süvarioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Işıkalp Erdem took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for İsa Akbora to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Bilgin Bekdemir hit a great ball. 2-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Gencal Yasık elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ali Berkant Tecen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencal Yasık in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Gencal Yasık managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kagizman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gencal Yasık was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gencal Yasık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ali Berkant Tecen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Pars Öksal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Berkant Tecen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pars Öksal went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kagizman fully deserved thier win.
