Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Günay Koray made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Atalan Hürsev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hazar Geylanoğullarından saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Ahmet Ceyhan Geçim in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Erdal Yatman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hazar Geylanoğullarından showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atalan Hürsev in the 15th minute of the match. Behiç Omural came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Kurucasile's Günay Koray. But to his dismay, Günay Koray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 20th minute, Atalan Hürsev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Ceyhan Geçim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Kurucasile got a freekick which was hit by Fahri Bağcı. When Bekir Nesil came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the 8taş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bekir Nesil couldn't finish the play. Behiç Omural showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günay Koray in the 29th minute of the match. Ahmet Ceyhan Geçim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hazar Geylanoğullarından having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of 8taş:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kurucasile:s goal. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Kurucasile. Baykal Hacıoğlu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Behiç Omural. 2-0. Günay Koray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behiç Omural having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Atalan Hürsev made the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Ceyhan Geçim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 61 played minutes Kurucasile got a freekick which was hit by Fahri Bağcı. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kurucasile! When Fahri Bağcı fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurucasile's protests and gave Fahri Bağcı a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 8taş booed when Kurucasile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahri Bağcı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Ceyhan Geçim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd match minute, Kurucasile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fahri Bağcı to maneuver through the defense. 8taş's Behiç Omural played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aygün Nihat in the 87th minute of play. When Tugay Makul fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 8taş's protests and gave Tugay Makul a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, 8taş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tugay Makul to maneuver through the defense. Kurucasile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baykal Hacıoğlu in the 93rd minute. Behiç Omural showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günay Koray, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
