The referee ignored Mersin İdman Ocagı's protests and gave İsmail Orhun Hatim a yellow card for diving instead. Sarioglan JK's Şakir Dengiz got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Şakir Dengiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Barış İsrafil having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sarioglan JK had played much better football throughout.
