The referee ignored Akcakoca SK's protests and gave Hayrettin Onaran a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Akcakoca SK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Hayrettin Onaran hit a great ball. Haydar Başkara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erhan Kutal took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esen Ergümen. Esen Ergümen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Hayrettin Onaran lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Esen Ergümen. Hayrettin Onaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esen Ergümen having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Hayrettin Onaran fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Esen Ergümen, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erhan Kutal got free with Esen Ergümen in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kadri Bozdağ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haydar Başkara, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th match minute, Sarioglan JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turan Kongurtay to maneuver through the defense. Gürbüz Türkdoğan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Esen Ergümen. Sarioglan JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hayrettin Onaran was the one to do the kick off. Berkin Özpolat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadri Bozdağ having to interfere. When Akcakoca SK's Hayrettin Onaran in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Erhan Kutal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erhan Kutal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esen Ergümen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Sarioglan JK's Esen Ergümen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erhan Kutal in the 74th minute of play. Hayrettin Onaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esen Ergümen having to interfere. In the 91st minute Erhan Kutal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Ergümen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuddusî Rebi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Akcakoca SK's Kadri Bozdağ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Akcakoca SK from getting a goal against them.
