Spectators: 6744 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmet Yahya Zümer kicked off to start the match. Batu Cem Okdağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Zekai Akşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Yahya Zümer in the 5th minute of play forced Denizlispor's goalkeeper Zekai Akşit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ümit Yağmurdereli came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Denizlispor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ümit Yağmurdereli couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ahmet Yahya Zümer managed to get in a good position for a shot. StrongTeam SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Yahya Zümer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zekai Akşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. StrongTeam SK's Batu Cem Okdağ got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Korcan Doğan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rüştü Erdem having to make a save. Ahmet Yahya Zümer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekai Akşit having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play, Denizlispor's Ümit Yağmurdereli made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rüştü Erdem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Batu Cem Okdağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekai Akşit having to interfere. Ümit Yağmurdereli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Denizlispor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zekai Akşit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batu Cem Okdağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ahmet Korcan Doğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüştü Erdem having to interfere. Ahmet Yahya Zümer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, StrongTeam SK's Gökalp Kızılateş got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Ümit Yağmurdereli came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Denizlispor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ümit Yağmurdereli couldn't finish the play. Batu Cem Okdağ took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zekai Akşit. Zekai Akşit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 76 minutes into the game, one of StrongTeam SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Rüştü Erdem, was totally fooled by Denizlispor's Denizhan Hallaç, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, StrongTeam SK's Rüştü Erdem got control of the ball when Ümit Yağmurdereli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Batu Cem Okdağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökalp Kızılateş's late challenge caught a Denizlispor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökalp Kızılateş helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to StrongTeam SK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gökalp Kızılateş hit a great ball. With a little luck, StrongTeam SK's Rüştü Erdem got control of the ball when Ümit Yağmurdereli tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Denizlispor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Denizlispor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
