The referee ignored Hanönü's protests and gave İskender Baki Tayyip a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, İskender Baki Tayyip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umut Şükür in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yiğit Aydın, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Umut Şükür received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Yiğit Aydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hanönü's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mehmet Ediz Kınıkaslan 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Ediz Tayman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dicle JK's Ediz Tayman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinçer Zeyni in the 25th minute of play. Yiğit Aydın made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Umut Şükür sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Umut Şükür cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Yiğit Aydın was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mehmet Ediz Kınıkaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ediz Tayman came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Hanönü's Dinçer Zeyni. But to his dismay, Dinçer Zeyni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Umut Şükür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yiğit Aydın didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Ediz Kınıkaslan went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 63 played minutes Dicle JK got a freekick which was hit by Çağrı Pektaşi. Yusuf Tunçtürk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hanönü's Yiğit Aydın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umut Şükür in the 70th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yavuz Selim Armağan during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Hanönü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Selim Armağan to maneuver through the defense. When Umut Şükür came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Dicle JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umut Şükür couldn't finish the play. Umut Şükür struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Yiğit Aydın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dicle JK. Mehmet Ediz Kınıkaslan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Hanönü's Afşin Akdeniz got a free kick in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umut Şükür during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Umut Şükür hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Ediz Kınıkaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hanönü's Yiğit Aydın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Ediz Kınıkaslan in the 88th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hanönü players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dicle JK.
