Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fc Ozenoglu's Barlas Ulunay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abay Ataner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Asım Canays short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Abay Ataner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Abay Ataner might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abay Ataner ran back to his position shaking his head. Semih Ahioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selman Erseven in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, one of Arpacay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Fc Ozenoglu a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Azmi Piruz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arpacay's Semih Ahioğlu. 0-1. Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abay Ataner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abay Ataner in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Arpacay booed when Fc Ozenoglu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fehmi Akdamar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ahmet Asım Canay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Fehmi Akdamar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Ozenoglu and the Arpacay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fc Ozenoglu getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Fehmi Akdamar hit a great ball. Abay Ataner kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Ahmet Kutsi Baltaş fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Ozenoglu's protests and gave Ahmet Kutsi Baltaş a yellow card for diving instead. Arpacay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by İstemihan Vecdet in the 48th minute. The corner ended in İstemihan Vecdet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Ozenoglu's Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Fc Ozenoglu's Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abay Ataner in the 53rd minute of play. Ahmet Asım Canay scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abay Ataner, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Ozenoglu's zone, Ahmet Asım Canay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan came out of the goal and Ahmet Asım Canay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pars İlksen fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arpacay's protests and gave Pars İlksen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fc Ozenoglu's Şinasi Doğanten got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Ahmet Asım Canay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Fc Ozenoglu got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Kutsi Baltaş. In the 81st minute Ahmet Asım Canay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pars İlksen got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd match minute, Arpacay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pars İlksen to maneuver through the defense. If Ahmet Asım Canay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abay Ataner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Abay Ataner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arpacay's supporters rose to their feet, but Abay Ataner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Arpacay failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
