Tophane's Atilla Kağan Kırgız played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercüment Kavaş in the 3rd minute of play. Atilla Kağan Kırgız made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Özgün Talha sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Necmi Ünveren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but İsmet Canberk was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. When Ersin Serhad fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Özgün Talhas short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Atilla Kağan Kırgız to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Özgün Talha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Tophane's Ahmet Koralp Akçan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İsmet Canberk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 54 played minutes Mihalgazi FK got a freekick which was hit by Ersin Serhad. After 62 played minutes Tophane got a freekick which was hit by İlbey Yalavaç. Özgün Talha hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Necmi Ünveren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Ercüment Kavaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Kağan Kırgız saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Koralp Akçan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihalgazi FK's Lefter Akdoğan suffered a concussion in the 83rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Semavi Zorbey fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tophane's protests and gave Semavi Zorbey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Tophane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semavi Zorbey to maneuver through the defense. Özgün Talha struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Atilla Kağan Kırgız didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mihalgazi FK. Atilla Kağan Kırgız showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgün Talha, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Necmi Ünveren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmet Canberk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mihalgazi FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tophane's performance. The match ended with a win for Tophane.
