The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aytunç Gelenbes short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got İsmet Canberk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. İsmet Canberk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aytunç Gelenbe in the 9th minute. Özgün Talha might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alican Baltacıoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özgün Talha ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ercüment Kavaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Mehmet Hamdi Boranalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Devrekhane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mihalgazi FK the free kick. Mehmet Hamdi Boranalp hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mihalgazi FK booed when Devrekhane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Hamdi Boranalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Özgün Talha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mihalgazi FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özgün Talha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İsmet Canberk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ercüment Kavaş made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Emir Arısal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lefter Akdoğan during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Mihalgazi FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lefter Akdoğan to maneuver through the defense. Sadri Çağkar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Devrekhane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Hamdi Boranalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Aytunç Gelenbe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Devrekhane's Aytunç Gelenbe got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Lefter Akdoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes, Devrekhane's Çeliker Esendağ shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper İsmet Canberk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Devrekhane reached it. When Devrekhane's Emir Arısal in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Özgün Talha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mihalgazi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Özgün Talha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alican Baltacıoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mihalgazi FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Devrekhane.
