Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) FC Elazığspor's Mustafa Hakan Perkel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute, Neşat Hiçsönmez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Devrekhane's Çeliker Esendağ couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Elazığspor. Kılıçhan Ataergin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytunç Gelenbe in the 19th minute of play. When Aytunç Gelenbe came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Devrekhane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytunç Gelenbe couldn't finish the play. FC Elazığspor's Kılıçhan Ataergin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytunç Gelenbe in the 24th minute of play. When Aytunç Gelenbe came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Devrekhane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytunç Gelenbe couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emir Arısal in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kılıçhan Ataergin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 37 minutes, Aytunç Gelenbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devrekhane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytunç Gelenbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aytunç Gelenbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Devrekhane's Emir Arısal in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Elazığspor's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emir Arısal in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kılıçhan Ataergin saved FC Elazığspor from getting behind. Aytunç Gelenbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emir Arısal made a kick off. Mustafa Hakan Perkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alican Baltacıoğlu having to interfere. Alican Baltacıoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Hamdi Boranalp hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Devrekhane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Can Sarvan to maneuver through the defense. Aytunç Gelenbe struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Kılıçhan Ataergin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Devrekhane. Kılıçhan Ataergin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emir Arısal's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Aytunç Gelenbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
