After having played for 16 minutes, Mehmet Hakkı Acem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kusadasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Hakkı Acem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Battal Gazi Patlar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruhi Onurkan went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Kusadasi's Ahmet Oğuz Renan got control of the ball when Cem Özker tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Berk Verim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Serkan Taran sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kusadasi's Ahmet Oğuz Renan didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hakkı Acem in the 38th minute of play forced Bozdogan's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Patlar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Bozdogan defense, Mehmet Hakkı Acem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Battal Gazi Patlar. The Bozdogan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Battal Gazi Patlar should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Oğuz Renan made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Baki Hunalp sent off a good shot on target. Kusadasi's Ruhi Onurkan got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Ruhi Onurkan off the ground.
The wind increased when İlyas Tolga Tülek made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bozdogan's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Patlar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Bozdogan's goal looked a bit too open when Menderes İskandil came free, but Battal Gazi Patlar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Menderes İskandil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Battal Gazi Patlar, 1-4. Ahmet Oğuz Renan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlyas Tolga Tülek in the 73rd minute of the match. Bozdogan's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Menderes İskandil 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. After 79 played minutes Kusadasi got a freekick which was hit by Yenal Seçkiner. When İlyas Tolga Tülek came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Bozdogan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlyas Tolga Tülek couldn't finish the play. Kusadasi's Ahmet Oğuz Renan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cem Özker in the 83rd minute of play. Ahmet Oğuz Renan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlyas Tolga Tülek, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Altay Yağızhan hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Mehmet Hakkı Acem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Afşar Tarancı fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bozdogan's protests and gave Afşar Tarancı a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Bozdogan got a freekick which was hit by Afşar Tarancı. If İlyas Tolga Tülek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kusadasi's Menderes İskandil got a free kick in the 97th minute. Kusadasi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
