The Sivas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yunus Ufuk should have stopped the shot. If Anıl Berk Tugay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sezer Yalçıner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yunus Ufuk was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When Sertaç Revnak fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Türkeş Kutlubay walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Necip Erserim was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Sivas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Caycuma JK's Kadim Özker got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Sezer Yalçıner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yunus Ufuk having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Necip Erserim to strike the kick off in the second half. Sertaç Revnak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yunus Ufuk having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Ahmet Bülent Özil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sivas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caycuma JK the free kick. A collision led to Sivas getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. In the 79th minute, Sezer Yalçıner reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yunus Ufuk. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sivas's goalkeeper Yunus Ufuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sertaç Revnak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sezer Yalçıner might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yunus Ufuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
