After 13 minutes Yildirim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Şehzade Özgunay who took care of the corner kick. The corner led KARAHAN's Şehzade Özgunay to fire away a dangerous shot which Ahmet Hakan Konguralp despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Naci Hazret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yildirim's supporters rose to their feet, but Naci Hazret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Semih Uzalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, KARAHAN's Erdeniz Tun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Hakan Konguralp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Nihat Toycan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Semih Uzalp. Can Nebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Semih Uzalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Can Nebi in the 29th minute of the match. Gökmen Tanay in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahmet Hakan Konguralp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ahmet Fikret Okbudun kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Naci Hazret charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Naci Hazret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 34 minutes into the match, KARAHAN's Şehzade Özgunay broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Erdeniz Tun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hakan Konguralp having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Erdeniz Tun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yildirim's Ahmet Hakan Konguralp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Yildirim from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erdeniz Tun to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Fikret Okbudun in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Semih Uzalp saved KARAHAN from getting behind. Ahmet Hakan Konguralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdeniz Tun in the 54th minute of the match. Semih Uzalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nihat Toycan in the 56th minute of play. KARAHAN's Semih Uzalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naci Hazret in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Mürsel Dede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, one of KARAHAN:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Semih Uzalp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seyfi Ehil went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Gökmen Tanay fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KARAHAN's protests and gave Gökmen Tanay a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Yildirim's Semih Uzalp threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nihat Toycan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nihat Toycan in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Semih Uzalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The goalkeeper, Semih Uzalp, was totally fooled by Yildirim's Seyfi Ehil, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Yildirim's Ahmet Hakan Konguralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdeniz Tun in the 97th minute of play. Yildirim's Naci Hazret got his second yellow card of the match in the 98th minute. The referee ordered Naci Hazret off the ground. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yildirim walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
