Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reha Cihannur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Timurid Empire's zone, Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reha Cihannur came out of the goal and Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baki Ongay might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reha Cihannur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baki Ongay ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baki Ongay in the 29th minute of play forced Timurid Empire's goalkeeper Reha Cihannur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kemalettin Paksan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Suavi Torel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kemalettin Paksan in the 39th minute of the match. Mete Özerhan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Reha Cihannur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reha Cihannur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baki Ongay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baki Ongay to strike the kick off in the second half. Baki Ongay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Reha Cihannur made a huge save. When Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Turgutluspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar couldn't finish the play. Reha Cihannur made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ensar Perker sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baki Ongay in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reha Cihannur saved Timurid Empire from getting behind. Suavi Torel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kemalettin Paksan in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Kemalettin Paksan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timurid Empire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kemalettin Paksan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Timurid Empire's zone, Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reha Cihannur came out of the goal and Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timurid Empire's goalkeeper Reha Cihannur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Baki Ongay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Turgutluspor's Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Turgutluspor played a much better game than Timurid Empire and deserved their victory. The Timurid Empire players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
