The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kesan SK's Kunter Resulhan got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Akay Karaca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Kunter Resulhan's late challenge caught a Turgutluspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Burhanettin Servet made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Rıfat Özpinar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akay Karaca was relentless in the 69th minute of the game.
