Karhan Kağan charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karhan Kağan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Selendi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karhan Kağan to maneuver through the defense. Rüstem Efe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balamir İltan's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Rüstem Efe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevdet Akkurt in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Güzelbahce SK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cevdet Akkurt hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Cevdet Akkurt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 minutes of play, Güzelbahce SK's Cevdet Akkurt made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rüstem Efe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cevdet Akkurt made a kick off. Rüstem Efe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevdet Akkurt in the 53rd minute of the match. Barbaros Yoran struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Alper Kuter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selendi JK. The supporters of Selendi JK booed when Güzelbahce SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Poyraz Tümerkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ogün Suavi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selendi JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ogün Suavi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alper Kuter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cevdet Akkurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rüstem Efe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tahsin Uzhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rüstem Efe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Rüstem Efe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. If Savaşer Değirmenci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Cevdet Akkurt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rüstem Efe, passed just outside the right post. After 80 minutes, Berkin Müfit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selendi JK and the Güzelbahce SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Güzelbahce SK's Rüstem Efe threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cevdet Akkurt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 86th minute Cevdet Akkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüstem Efe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balamir İltan struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Rüstem Efe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güzelbahce SK. 92 minutes into the match, Selendi JK's goalkeeper Rüstem Efe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balamir İltan. Alper Kuter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ogün Suavi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cevdet Akkurt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
