The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Cevdet Akkurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The Güzelbahce SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 8th match minute, Güzelbahce SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balamir İltan to maneuver through the defense. Balamir İltan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Yağızalp Murtaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alper Kuter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berk Seyran, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Yiğitcan Sönmez charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yiğitcan Sönmez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Yiğitcan Sönmez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Balamir İltan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yağızalp Murtaza, passed just outside the right post. After 28 played minutes Karamuk FK got a freekick which was hit by Yiğitcan Sönmez. Cevdet Akkurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Balamir İltan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Balamir İltan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Yağızalp Murtaza made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tuncay İlham during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmet Hafiz Okdağ shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 38 played minutes Güzelbahce SK got a freekick which was hit by Metehan Başbuğ. Cevdet Akkurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızalp Murtaza having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Yağızalp Murtaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cevdet Akkurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Yağızalp Murtaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balamir İltan in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Balamir İltan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balamir İltan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yağızalp Murtaza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Balamir İltan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızalp Murtaza having to interfere. Karamuk FK's Yağızalp Murtaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balamir İltan in the 63rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Karamuk FK's Alper Kuter threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Berk Seyran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Güzelbahce SK's Cevdet Akkurt got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cevdet Akkurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızalp Murtaza having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Cevdet Akkurt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yağızalp Murtaza came out of the goal and Cevdet Akkurt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
