In the 11th minute, Nuratay Sökmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bircan Tükelalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Müfit Kalender in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güral Uraltay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Güral Uraltay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müfit Kalender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Güralp Umurbey hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Müfit Kalender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Uraltay having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Musa Hicab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cena Betis's supporters rose to their feet, but Musa Hicab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vecdet Topel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 played minutes ÖSKİ FC got a freekick which was hit by Necdet Ogün. Müfit Kalender recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Çelebi Pakel kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Müfit Kalender managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÖSKİ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Müfit Kalender was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güral Uraltay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vecdet Topel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bircan Tükelalp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Müfit Kalender stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Müfit Kalender fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ÖSKİ FC's protests and gave Müfit Kalender a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ÖSKİ FC's Müfit Kalender got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bircan Tükelalp in the 60th minute of play forced ÖSKİ FC's goalkeeper Vecdet Topel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Süruri Tavgaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bircan Tükelalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Necdet Ogün kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Bircan Tükelalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ÖSKİ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vecdet Topel should have stopped the shot. In the 84th match minute, ÖSKİ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhsin Ulubek to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Cena Betis's Güral Uraltay got control of the ball when Necdet Ogün tried to sneak it across the goal line. Necdet Ogün took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Güral Uraltay. Güral Uraltay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Müfit Kalender could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Güral Uraltay made a huge save. The Cena Betis support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
