The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Beyhan Yener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Mustafa Haydar Özan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gani Paker. Kesan SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Haydar Özan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gani Paker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Haydar Özan in the 15th minute of the match. Mustafa Haydar Özan struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gani Paker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harbiye. After a defensive mix-up in Kesan SK's zone, Nebi Ubeydullah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gani Paker came out of the goal and Nebi Ubeydullah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Harbiye's Gökhan Bedih got a free kick in the 21st minute. Muhammet Temizkan's shot from long distance in the 22nd minute was not bad at all, but Harbiye's Rıfkı Kutcan knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göktürk Okyar in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gani Paker saved Kesan SK from getting behind. Mustafa Haydar Özan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Beyhan Yener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beyhan Yener scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rıfkı Kutcan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mustafa Haydar Özan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gani Paker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vahap Kaplan charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vahap Kaplan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nebi Ubeydullah scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gani Paker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Burç Bircanoğlu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Harbiye were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burç Bircanoğlu was the one to do the kick off. If Mustafa Haydar Özan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burç Bircanoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Haydar Özan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gani Paker made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Nebi Ubeydullah sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute Mustafa Haydar Özan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gani Paker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Kesan SK's Burç Bircanoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rıfkı Kutcan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute Mustafa Haydar Özan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gani Paker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Beyhan Yener managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kesan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beyhan Yener was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Harbiye's Mustafa Haydar Özan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gani Paker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Göktürk Okyar hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rıfkı Kutcan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beyhan Yener's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Burç Bircanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vahap Kaplan struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Rıfkı Kutcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kesan SK. Burç Bircanoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rıfkı Kutcan having to make a save. Gani Paker made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Nebi Ubeydullah sent off a good shot on target. Nebi Ubeydullah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gani Paker made a huge save.
