A collision led to ÖSKİ FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ahmet Necdet Bostancı hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müfit Kalender in the 26th minute of play forced Üzümlü SK's goalkeeper Tahsin Saltuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Müfit Kalender in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tahsin Saltuk saved Üzümlü SK from getting behind. Necdet Ogün took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tahsin Saltuk. Tahsin Saltuk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 43rd minute Gürbüz Hisar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vecdet Topel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Necdet Ogün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gürbüz Hisar to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Üzümlü SK's zone, Necdet Ogün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tahsin Saltuk came out of the goal and Necdet Ogün tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vecdet Topel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gürbüz Hisar went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Üzümlü SK booed when ÖSKİ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Necdet Bostancı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Müfit Kalender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Tahsin Saltuk managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when ÖSKİ FC's Necdet Ogün fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tahsin Saltuk made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Necdet Ogün sent off a good shot on target. Necdet Ogün could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Tahsin Saltuk made a huge save. Süruri Tavgaç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tahsin Saltuk having to make a save. Nuratay Sökmen charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuratay Sökmen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle sounded ÖSKİ FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Üzümlü SK.
