Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ahmet Danış Mansız got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp in the 5th minute of play forced Kanarya SK's goalkeeper Yaser Önen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pride's zone, Ahmet Danış Mansız stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdet Turgut came out of the goal and Ahmet Danış Mansız tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İbrahim Beren hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Mustafa Barış Başhekim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yaser Önen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Emrah İlkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaser Önen came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Pride's Gencay Yalınay. But to his dismay, Gencay Yalınay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kanarya SK's zone, Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaser Önen came out of the goal and Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Emrah İlkan struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Yaser Önen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pride. Ahmet Danış Mansız who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Vecdet Turgut when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 42 minutes, Gencay Yalınay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pride and the Kanarya SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Pride was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencay Yalınay to maneuver through the defense. Vecdet Turgut came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Kanarya SK's Ahmet Danış Mansız. But to his dismay, Ahmet Danış Mansız quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mehmet Emrah İlkan made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pride booed when Kanarya SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Danış Mansız didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yaser Önen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-3 via right post in the game's 68th minute. Pride's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 74 played minutes Pride got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Barış Başhekim. Tibet İhtiyar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vecdet Turgut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaser Önen having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yaser Önen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Özden Koç kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yaser Önen. Yaser Önen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6.
