Urla's supporters rose to their feet, but Gündüz Akbora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saip Seyfi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Gündüz Akbora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Demirbilek SK the free kick. In the 29th minute, Mümtaz Kuthan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Devlet Ihlamur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Fikret Karasu during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saip Seyfi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktaç Boran, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Urla's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
