Batu Cem Sıbgatullah charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batu Cem Sıbgatullah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Devlet Ihlamur was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Haluk Bedi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haluk Bedi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Aktaç Boran notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sokrates's Hasan Can Yanaç. Hasan Can Yanaç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erman Erginay hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Aktaç Boran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aktaç Boran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haluk Bedi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Batu Cem Sıbgatullah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Devlet Ihlamur was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Hasan Can Yanaç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baysal Uluşahin in the 57th minute. In the 68th minute, Abdulaziz Tecelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 minutes of play, Sokrates's Batu Cem Sıbgatullah made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Devlet Ihlamur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hasan Can Yanaç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baysal Uluşahin in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Urla's goal looked a bit too open when Batu Cem Sıbgatullah came free, but Devlet Ihlamur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Urla booed when Sokrates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cenan Çağlayan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sokrates fans cheered their team off the field, for while Urla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
