Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Taskent's Samim Şerefhan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Taskent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İshak Bayraktar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Taskent's zone, Mümin Vefalı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bünyamin Şafakoğlu came out of the goal and Mümin Vefalı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Samim Şerefhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Samim Şerefhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İlhan Uçbeyi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match İshak Bayraktar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abbas Canalp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Refik Paksan in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bünyamin Şafakoğlu saved Taskent from getting behind. The BOR fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when BOR's Ahmet Refik Paksan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Taskent's Vedat Tozun got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to BOR getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hakkı Onur Eraslan hit a great ball. Samim Şerefhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abbas Canalp didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Abbas Canalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erkin Baykut in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Samim Şerefhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vedat Tozun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samim Şerefhan in the 55th minute of play forced BOR's goalkeeper Abbas Canalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samim Şerefhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Abbas Canalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vedat Tozun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bünyamin Şafakoğlu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şinasi Harzemşah during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes BOR got a freekick which was hit by Şinasi Harzemşah. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vedat Tozun in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abbas Canalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Samim Şerefhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bünyamin Şafakoğlu made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ahmet Refik Paksan sent off a good shot on target. Vedat Tozun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbas Canalp having to interfere. When Şinasi Harzemşah was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Şinasi Harzemşah kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Samim Şerefhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Taskent's Vedat Tozun in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BOR's goalie prevented a goal. 96 minutes into the match, BOR's goal looked a bit too open when Samim Şerefhan came free, but Abbas Canalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Taskent manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing BOR to win.
