Mutlu Suhan made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Gökmen Işıldar sent off a good shot on target. If Gökmen Işıldar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdurrahman Deniz to make the kick off. Abdurrahman Deniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mutlu Suhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökmen Işıldar, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Beşiktaş JK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Zafer Tayfun hit a great ball. Gökmen Işıldar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mutlu Suhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Beşiktaş JK booed when BATINBERK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadim Kılınç didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Beşiktaş JK. Ersin Dinçay made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Abidin Aktaşlıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Gökmen Işıldar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mutlu Suhan having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Gökmen Işıldar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdurrahman Deniz in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mutlu Suhan saved Beşiktaş JK from getting behind.
